How to calculate the Selective Enrollment scores

The selective enrollment scores are based on a total of 1000 points:

1. 300 possible for 7th grade grades (english, math, science and social studies)

A=75, B=50, C=25 (plus and minuses not a factor)

2. 300 possible for 7th grade standardized test

Multiply total reading (PR) and Total Math(PR) multiplied by 1.515; add these score together to get total score.

3. 100 possible for 7th grade attendance

Two points are deducted from 100 for each day missed after the first 3 days.

4. 300 possible for SES Entrance Exam taken in 8th grade
